New for 2026 we have partnered with Adventure Boat Tours and Watersports (Tony DiCarlo 518-857-7765) to offer all our guests private boat tours around the lake. Tours depart right from our dock and all guests receive discounts on the tours. Guests can tailor the tour to their wishes- tubing, sightseeing, exploring or just swimming and relaxing. Of course, everyone can also enjoy access to kayaks and paddleboards for fun and relaxation on the water.

During summer, and on Friday and Saturday nights in the fall, we host special evening activities, including Make Your Own Sundaes, Root Beer Floats, S’mores Night, Make Your Own Candles, and more—all complimentary to enhance your stay.

Our two level elevated observation deck with fire tables extending 55 feet out over the lake gives our guests spectacular views of the lake and mountains during the day and romantic views of the stars at night.

Free Activities

Every evening in July and August and every weekend in May, June, September and October we have special activities for guests, including Make Your Own Sundaes, Root Beer Floats, Make Your Own Candles, S’mores and more. Free of course.

Our office staff are all area natives with extensive experience with recreation, dining and night life activities to help you better plan and enjoy your Lake George experience.

Large Swimming Area

For those who prefer to get in the lake as opposed to merely enjoying its beauty, we have a 1500 square foot swimming area complete with stairs from the lake side deck.

Kayaks & Paddleboards

In addition we have created a docking area to make it safer and easier for you enjoy the lake via our new single and two person kayaks and paddle boards for all Lake Motel guests for a charge of $10 per hour.

Picnic Area

Relax dockside directly on the water at our picnic area with picnic tables and commercial all stainless steel gas grills. We have all the barbecue tools you need.

My family feels very lucky to have found the charming little Lake Motel. The view was spectacular, the room and outdoor spaces were spotless and comfortable, and the customer service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We loved the pool-side s’mores and root beer float bar. Everything was excellent!
